Current Version: 0.7c ME


Hello there, my fellow Adventurers! 

It is time for the new 0.7c update! And it comes with a bunch of re-designed stuff under the hood :) On the minutiae of the subject, f.ex., mushrooms have been re-worked, so those who are harmful for the player, e.g., Weakness, or Unhealth, to name two of them, now have a chance of hurting your enemies when you throw them against those said enemies. Keep in mind, mushrooms are fragile and tiny, so there is a chance too of them just no breaking through the AC of the bad guys. Still fun to try to Dissolve a Kobold Shaman  >:D

On the bigger part of the new stuff, the combat section has been "streamlined" neatly. Let`s discuss it. There is Combat_charts.txt in  the main folder, where you can read the particulars of the matter. But TL;DR is: Weapons and Shields, have gone under the surgeon`s knife to simulate different combos in a more accurate way.  Small/lighter weapons will give the character a boost in Accuracy/Speed, while not adding anything to Damage. On the opposite, big, double handed weapons are more cumbersome to wield, penalizing the Accuracy/Speed ,BUT, giving an extra boost to Damage. Shields provide AC but will penalize the Accuracy/Speed.

The whole idea is, while NOT being a very aggressive mechanic, it will make the decision of combining weapons/sheilds a bit more meaningful and combat affecting.

Other than that, as usual, took profit of the update`s work to throw in a fistful of new monsters and items to all areas of the Inventory.

Well, well,  those pesky Goblins ain`t gonna kill themselves, so.... What are you doing in this side of reality? Grab this new update and go slay those pesterers!
